The species is a previously reported from the southern Aegean Sea and the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The main morphometric and meristic characters of this species which is rare in northern Aegean waters of Turkey are given. Keywords : Ophisurus serpens, Küçükkuyu, occurence, morphometry, description
